Meet the Team
Craig McNeil has been capturing families in their favorite outdoor environments for over 30 years. After spending many of his early years as a professional skier, Craig had to find a way to pay the bills. He picked up a camera and began a small photo key ring business called Cheek To Cheek Photography. What started with Polaroid cameras and daycare centers, grew into a worldwide, location-based family portrait business located in Cherry Creek in Denver, Colorado. in 2014, Craig's son, Sean, was brought on to manage the Dogs of Denver coffee table book project and soon after he joined the family business full-time.
When Craig isn't on location you can find him at an open mic night drumming to Led Zeppelin's classics, carving fresh weekday ski tracks in Vail's Blue Sky Basin (perks of owning your own business!) or peddling up the Front Range trails on his mountain bike.
Craig has been married to his lovely wife, Amy, for 38 years. In addition to his son, Craig has one daughter, Moira.
Sean's passion for photography landed him in Cherry Creek working alongside his dad at McNeil Designer Portraits. When Sean isn't on location with families, he can be found capturing furry four-legged friends for McNeil Designer Portrait's philanthropic book, Dogs of Denver. In 2017, Sean was voted Best Pet Photographer by Denver A-List City Voters and has successfully produced four coffee table books starring over 700 dogs.
On the weekends, you will likely find Sean with a camera in his hand exploring and documenting landscapes and wildlife of Colorado with his wife, Kelsey, and their crazy black lab mix, Betty Lou.
